How it works
A minute of speech is transcribed and cleaned in roughly two to two and a half seconds on Apple Silicon, entirely on device.
The app detects your Mac's Silicon spec and configures itself to match. You do not pick a model or tune anything. It runs light and 8 GB is plenty.
When the audio is poor, it waits for a word to formulate rather than guessing wildly. You get a pause instead of a confident mistake, which is easier to correct.
Hotkey dictation includes one-tap cleanup, so filler words come out and punctuation goes in. There is a personal dictionary for names and jargon you use often, and it detects English and Spanish automatically.
