Hushbird is a macOS app that types what you say and reads selected text aloud. It costs $39.99, once. There is no subscription and no renewal.
One license activates Hushbird on 2 Macs. You can move a license between Macs at any time: open Hushbird, choose License from the menu bar, and deactivate a Mac to free its slot.
Every download includes a 7-day free trial with every feature unlocked. No card, no account, no reminder emails. If you do nothing when it ends, dictation and reading simply stop; your settings and history stay where they are.
If Hushbird is not right for you, write to support@hushbird.app within 14 days of buying and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason.
We ask only that you try the 7-day trial first, so that a refund is a rare disappointment rather than a routine step.
Hushbird is made by PSYT LLC. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for this sale. That means Stripe is the seller of record, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues your receipt. Your card statement will show a charge from Link (Stripe) rather than from us.
Refund and payment questions can go to support@hushbird.app and we will handle them.
Hushbird requires an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or newer. It does not run on Intel Macs. Speech recognition is a statistical process and will sometimes be wrong; we do not promise perfect transcription, and you should not rely on Hushbird where an error would be dangerous or costly.
The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, PSYT LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us.
If we change these terms, the change applies to purchases made after we publish it. It will never reach back and change a deal you already made.
