A whole institution is priced by enrollment, so nobody has to count Macs. It covers every Mac at the institution and the personal Macs of enrolled students and employees, for as long as they are enrolled or employed.
What it costs over three years
The saving per seat is small and is not the point. This is a purchase, not a subscription, so years two and three cost nothing.

Those are the published consumer prices of two widely used tools, one for dictation and one for reading aloud. Hushbird does both.
Spanish
Hushbird's interface is available in English and Spanish, and follows whatever language the Mac is set to. There is no separate download and no separate license. Following along word by word, which is the part that matters for dyslexia, works in Spanish, French, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese as well as English. For a campus serving Spanish speaking students, that is the tool in their language rather than an English tool that reads to them.
How to buy it
Email access@hushbird.app with the tier you need and your purchase order or requisition number. What happens next:
- An invoice carrying your PO number, made out from PSYT LLC, payable by check or ACH. Card is available if you prefer it.
- A W-9 with the invoice, or in advance if your finance office needs to set us up as a vendor first. Just ask.
- Net 30 terms. Licenses are issued when the purchase order arrives, not when the payment clears, so nobody waits on accounts payable.
- Keys within one business day of the order, by email, ready to use.
- A completed HECVAT on request, version 4.1.6, every applicable question answered. Much of it is short, because Hushbird holds none of your data: dictation, reading aloud and translation all run on the Mac, and nothing a person writes or reads is transmitted anywhere.
There is no reseller, no minimum, and no annual commitment to decline.
